On July 5 at 12:08AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 2500 block of Kingswood Ct. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 25-year-old man, reported to police that he confronted a group of unknown individuals setting off fireworks near the intersection of Foresthill Rd. and Doverhill Ct.

Video surveillance of the incident revealed that while a store employee was stocking shelves, an unknown man exposed himself to her.

Effective Tuesday, July 6, Sentara will resume standard visitation policies for all Sentara hospitals and outpatient facilities, with some exceptions for COVID-19 positive patients and patients under investigation (PUI) for COVID-19. All visitors, including those who are under the age of 12, are allowed to visit at this time.
Today and tomorrow, July 6th and 7th, due to the forecasted high temperature of 97 degrees with heat index values anticipated to be as high as 105 degrees, members of the public who need shelter from the heat can visit a Prince William County library.
UVA Health reports it is now "the full owner of Novant Health UVA Health System," the regional health system previously owned by UVA Health and Novant Health through a joint operating company.
Data and experiences from other libraries has proven that removing late fees removes unfair economic barriers to library access for youth and patrons from disadvantaged backgrounds. A common, related driver is increasing engagement with the library and inviting users back who had been shut out because of fines.

Dr. LaTanya McDade, the first African American and the first woman to lead Prince William County’s public-school system will spend her first 100 days engaged in a listening tour and strategic planning process, according to a news release.
