PWC Police make arrest in connection with Jan. 9. 2025 shooting.

PRTC will hold public hearings in Woodbridge and Manassas next week to present its proposed Fiscal Year 2016 budget and accept public comments about the plan that calls for curtailing some services, raising fares and applying for federal grants. The $68 million budget is austere because of financial limitations, according to Christine Rodreigo, PRTC spokesman.

On March 23 at 6:30 p.m., the Manassas Campus of Northern Virginia Community College will host “Chinese Culture and Growing Up in a Communist Country,” a presentation by Grace Yao and Dong Xiang. The event, which begins with light refreshments at 6 p.m., is free and open to the community.

Arrests of four people concluded a nearly three-month-long investigation into an incident involving the assault of a 15-year-old female of Manassas, VA by members of the Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) street gang during a gang initiation ritual on November 14, 2014.

Jeanine Lawson, Brentsville District supervisor, and Gil Trenum, Brentsville District member School Board Member, have canceled their town hall meeting for tonight Monday, March 2, at Gainesville Middle School, because Prince William County Schools are closed today.
