Emergency text messages from AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon Wireless customers are accepted.

Prince William County’s 2016 recycling rate jumps 3.1 points above 2015

Prince William County achieved a recycle rate of 36.8% in 2016. This was an increase from the 2015 rate of 33.7%, according to Prince William County Public Works, Solid Waste Division Recycling Office.

VDOT to close Owl’s Nest Rd. in Nokesville July 25-26 to replace stormwater pipe

Owls Nest Road (Route 658) between Burwell Road (Route 604) and Manley Road will be closed to through traffic from 8 a.m. Tuesday, July 25 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 26 for stormwater pipe replacement, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

Diverging Diamond Interchange (DDI) at Interstate 66 and US 15 will be one step closer to completion once the new traffic signal mast arms are installed at US 15 and VA 55, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation. Lane closures at the intersection, as well as intermittent full closures up to 15 minutes each will occur to facilitate the work.
