On August 7 at 4:09AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to investigate an abduction and carjacking that was reported to have occurred at the Dale Forest Apartments located in the 12300 block of Midsummer Ln in Woodbridge (22192) earlier that morning.

On Saturday, August 7 at 8:52AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to investigate an assault that was reported to have occurred at Woodbridge High School earlier that morning.

During a follow-up the next day, the business owner reported shell casings were found near a neighboring business.

On August 9 at 4:41PM, officers with the Prince William County Police Department responded to the Riverwoods Apartments located in the 2700 block of Dettingen Pl in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shots fired call. The caller reported to police that gunfire was heard in the above area before two men were seen fleeing in a vehicle.

The investigation revealed that the victim, a 48-year-old man, was asleep when a family member, identified as the accused, poured isopropyl alcohol on the victim’s face and into his eyes.

On August 6 at 12:08AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to investigate an assault that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 7500 block of Wedgewood Dr in Manassas (20109) earlier that evening.

Detectives with the Prince William County Police Department's Special Victims Unit responded to investigate a sexual assault that was reported to have occurred at a home located in the Woodbridge (22191) area of Prince William County Aug. 5.

On August 7 at 7:31PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the area of Wellington Rd in front of Jiffy Lube Live, located in the 7800 block of Cellar Door Dr in Bristow (20136), for an intoxicated individual.
