Shell casings found after jewelry store owner reports destruction of property
Shooting at a Commercial Business – On August 8 at 10:01PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to Chrysella Fine Jewelry and Diamonds located at 15101 Potomac Town Place #110, in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a destruction of property.
The business owner reported to police that sometime between 8:00PM on August 7 and 2:25PM on August 8, an exterior window was struck by an object. At the time of the initial report, no object was identified that reportedly caused the damage. The object did not penetrate into the business.
During a follow-up the next day, the business owner reported shell casings were found near a neighboring business. Video surveillance was reviewed which indicated the sound of shots possibly being fired around 4:57AM on August 8. No suspects or vehicles were seen. No other property damage was reported.
