Man attacked with flaming log in Woodbridge, in hospital; suspect charged

Prince William Fire & Rescue reports that a Woodbridge man was attacked April 5, 2020 with a flaming log, which knocked the victim into a fire, causing burns to his face, neck, shoulder, back, and forearms. A suspect was charged with malicious wounding by fire and is being held without bond.

Wittman introduces bill for pilot grants to expand reliable broadband to 19 million rural Americans

Today, April 6, Virginia Congressman Rob Wittman, who represents part of Prince William County, and Rep. Bill Johnson (R-OH-6), spurred by the Coronavirus Pandemic across America, introduced legislation to create a five-year pilot grant program to expand reliable broadband access to some 19 million rural Americans who are unable to connect to this service.
