String of residential burglaries reported to police

Master Police Officer Renee Carr, public information officer for the Prince William County Police Department, released this list of incidents on Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2020:

Residential Burglary – On Monday, Nov. 30 at 1:30AM, Prince William County police officers responded to the Somerset Pointe Apartments located in the 14700 block of Deming Dr. in Gainesville (20155) to investigate a burglary. A resident of the apartment reported to police that the burglary occurred sometime between 3 PM on Nov. 29 and 1 AM on Nov. 30.
The investigation revealed that entry was attempted through the front door and eventually made through the unsecured rear door. A police K-9 searched the area for any suspects who were not located. No property was reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On Sunday, Nov. 29 at 5:13PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3300 block of Broker Ln. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred sometime between 12 AM on Nov. 13 and 5 PM on Nov. 29. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through the door from the attached garage which was found damaged. A television and two gaming systems were reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On Thursday, Nov. 26 at 10:15PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 10100 block of Lomond Dr. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. A resident of the home reported to police that the burglary occurred sometime between 6 PM and 9 PM. There were no signs of forced entry into the home. An undisclosed amount of money was reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On Thursday, Nov. 26 at 11:32AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 1700 block of Tiger Lily Cl. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred sometime between 7 PM and 7:30PM on Nov. 25. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through a bedroom window that was found unsecured. Power cords and a television were reported missing.

Attempted Residential Burglary – On Sunday, Nov. 29 at 7:09PM, officers responded to the Arcadia Run Apartments located in the 11700 block of Wisteria Pond Way in Manassas (20109) to investigate an attempted burglary. A resident of the apartment reported to police that he heard banging on his door and yelling by unknown men. The men fled the area prior to police arriving at the location. A police K-9 searched the area for the suspects who were not located. No entry was made into the apartment. Damage to the door was reported.
Suspect Descriptions:
All three black males were approximately 5’9” and 165lbs.
One man was last seen wearing a black and yellow jacket
