Dec. 20 fire displaces eight from home in Sudley

Prince William County fire and rescue units were dispatched to the 10300 block of Lomond Drive (Sudley) at 1:22 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2022 for a report of a single-family dwelling on fire. Crews arrived with fire showing and all occupants safely out of the home, according to Matt Smolsky, assistant fire chief.

On Thursday, June 23, 2022 at 3:03AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Somerset Pointe Apartments located in the 14700 block of Soapstone Dr in Gainesville (20155) to investigate an initial report of an unconscious 20-month-old child.

PWC Police offering reward for info in Nov. 12 homicide of Woodbridge man

The Police Department reported it is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those involved in this death.

Two burned by candles in Bristow incident

Fire & Rescue crews arrived to find one adult male and one adult female with burn injuries. Both victims were transported to a regional burn center. The adult female did sustain life-threatening injuries. There was minimal damage to the Bristow home.

Man killed walking in northbound lanes of Rt. 1 near Russell Rd. in Quantico

On Monday, December 5, 2022 at 5:58AM, investigators with the Prince William County Police Department's Crash Investigation Unit responded to the area of Richmond Hwy (US Rte 1) near Russell Rd in Quantico (22134) to investigate a crash involving a pedestrian. Multiple callers contacted the Public Safety Communications Center to report a man walking in the roadway in the above area.
