Clerk of Court Michèle McQuigg, saying she is the only candidate "who is a Certified Clerk of Circuit Court," has announced that she will seek reelection for a second eight-year term as the clerk of the circuit court that serves Prince William County, Manassas and Manassas Park.

By working with the Virginia Department of Health Division of Vital Records, DMV began issuing copies of Virginia birth certificates in March 2014. This summer, DMV will offer copies of death, marriage and divorce certificates.“More than 72,000 customers requested a copy of a birth certificate at DMV last year," according to a statement by DMV Commissioner Richard D.
