The 27-member Commission on Parole Review has delivered its report and 23 recommendations to Gov. Terry McAuliffe. The commission was appointed to examine the 20-year-old policy that eliminated discretionary parole for persons convicted of felonies in Virginia.

NBCT teachers announced, recognition of outstanding educators Jan. 28

Thirteen PWCS teachers who have received National Board Certification will be honored at a School Board reception on Jan. 28. Five of the 13 National Board Certified Teachers (NBCT) achieved recertification.
