Strangulation | Domestic Assault & Battery*ARREST – On January 1, Michael ALLEN turned himself into police without incident at the Adult Detention Center in Manassas. This individual was wanted in connection to a strangulation and domestic assault which occurred at a residence located in the 9800 block of Sudley Manor Dr in Manassas on December 30. 
Arrested on January 1: 
Michael Rufus ALLEN, 41, of the 9800 block of Sudley Manor Dr in Manassas
Charged with strangulation and domestic assault & battery
Court Date: February 10, 2016 | Bond: Held WITHOUT Bond

Strangulation | Domestic Assault & Battery [Previously Released] – On December 30th at 8:30AM, officers responded to the 9800 block of Sudley Manor Dr in Manassas (20109) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 16 year old male juvenile of Manassas, reported to police that he and the accused, a known acquaintance, were involved in a verbal altercation which escalated. During the encounter, the accused grabbed the victim by the neck and began to choke him. The parties eventually separated and police were contacted. The accused fled the area before officers arrived at the residence. Minor injuries were reported. Following the investigation, officers obtained warrants for the arrest of the accused.

**INCIDENTS**

Fatal Crash Investigation – On January 8 at 12:00AM, investigators from the Crash Investigation Unit responded to the 18100 block of Joplin Rd in Triangle (22172) to investigate a single vehicle crash. When officers arrived, the vehicle was found fully engulfed in flames.  The driver was located inside the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.  The initial investigation revealed that the 2009 Pontiac Vibe, occupied only by the driver, was traveling eastbound on Joplin Rd when it left the roadway.  It is unknown at this time if speed, alcohol, and drugs are factors.  Investigators are awaiting positive identification of the driver. The investigation continues.

Strong Armed Robbery – On January 7 at 8:45PM, officers responded to the 7900 block of Community Dr in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 38 year old man of Manassas, reported to police that he was in the above area when he was approached by a two unknown men.  During the encounter, the two suspects struck the victim in the face causing him to fall down.  The suspects then took the victim’s wallet before fleeing the area on foot. Minor injuries were reported.  A police K-9 was used to search for the suspects who were not located. The investigation continues.

2 black males, 5’05’’and 160lbs – No further descriptions provided
Last seen wearing all black clothing and masks covering their face
