On October 29, the victim from the earlier shooting on Quail Run Ln in Manassas died as a result of his injuries sustained during the incident, Prince William County Police report.

Prince William County Police have provided surveillance footage of a possible abduction from Walmart in Woodbridge Saturday evening, Oct. 29, and are asking for the public's help.

Prince William Winter Shelter will open at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2016, and will operate daily between 6:30 p.m. and 7 a.m. until March 31, 2017, to house the homeless through the coming winter nights. The shelter at 14730 Potomac Mills Road, Woodbridge, extends hours when the temperature is below 32 degrees. The shelter, operated by Prince William County Department of Social Services, is on a first-come-first-served basis and has 47 beds.

Chief Barry Barnard of the Prince William County Police Department will be hosting a “Conversation with the Chief” tonight, Wednesday, Oct. 26, at Westgate Elementary School located at 8031 Urbanna Road in Manassas starting at 7 p.m.
