Finmarc Management, Inc., a Bethesda-based commercial real estate firm, has reported its purchase of the Festival at Manassas, a 117,000 square foot shopping center located on Festival Lane in Manassas for $20 million. Va. State Police Special Agent shot

Virginia State Police and City of Richmond Police are actively searching for a male subject who shot a Virginia State Police Special Agent Friday evening (May 26) in the 1900 block of Redd St. in City of Richmond. The suspect is described as a black male of medium build approximately 5’8 to 5’10 in height. He has close-cropped hair and was wearing a red, possibly plaid, button-up shirt with ¾ inch sleeves and khaki cargo shorts or pants.

Va. Tech designated NSA Center for Academic Excellence in cyber operations

Governor Terry McAuliffe May 24 announced that the National Security Agency (NSA) has designated Virginia Tech as a Center for Academic Excellence in Cyber Operations (CAE-CO). Virginia Tech joins an exclusive list of 16 other universities in the nation in bearing this designation.
