PW County to open new Rollins Ford park in Nokesville area on Oct. 7

On Saturday, Oct. 7, the new Rollins Ford Park in Nokesville will host the opening ribbon cutting ceremonies from 9:30 to 11 a.m.

Patriot High School’s soccer team becomes part of the community–on and off the field

The soccer team at the new Patriot High School in Nokesville VA completed several service projects in addition to their daily practices and game schedule. Team coaches encouraged the working together on service projects in the community to build a sense of camaraderie among the soccer players both on and off the field. The high school opened in September 2011 and had no senior class for the 2011-12 school year.

Patriot High School resumes classes after evacuation

Fire officials in Nokesville VA have given the okay for Patriot High School to resume class and other activities after the school was evacuated earlier this morning for an unidentified "strong odor." The cause of the smell has since been identified, according to Irene Cromer, supervisor of community relations for Prince William County Schools.
