Fauquier County Public Schools and Defense Acquisition University will conduct an Engineering Management Workshop summer camp from August 3-7 at Kettle Run High School in Nokesville. The camp is for rising ninth and tenth graders.

VA Rte. 28 (Nokesville Road) between Bristow Village Boulevard and Battalion Square will again be closed in both directions Friday and Sunday nights so that crews can continue storm sewer line work, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

The "Building for America's Bravest" team of the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation will break ground Monday, June 29 at 11 a.m. at 13460 Nokesville Road, Nokesville, on a customized new "smart home" for Retired USMC Cpl. Adam Devine, who was catastrophically injured in Afghanistan.

Nokesville Day activities on Saturday, May 16 will be centered at Brentsville District High School due to VDOT's unexpected closing of the Aden Road railroad bridge. Parking will be at Nokesville Elementary and along Aden Road.
