Man’s death July 30 in Woodbridge house fire appears to be accidental, says medical examiner

On July 31, the Medical Examiner’s Office conducted an autopsy on the victim found deceased in a fire which occurred at a residence located in the 1500 block of Walnut St in Woodbridge on July 30. The preliminary cause of the victim’s death appears to be accidental resulting from the fire, although police and fire officials are continuing their investigations, a news release said.
