On May 6 at 6:27PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the intersection of University Blvd. and Robertson Dr. in Manassas (20109) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 52-year-old woman, reported to police that while walking in the above area, she was approached by a male passenger who exited from a maroon-colored SUV that stopped nearby. Tthe suspect brandished an electroshock weapon and shocked the victim before getting back into the vehicle and fleeing the area. The victim was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries.

On Thursday, May 6 at 8:07PM, investigators with the Prince William County Police Department's Crash Investigation Unit responded to the area of Minnieville Rd. and Noblewood Plaza in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a crash involving a pedestrian.

While enroute to investigate a domestic call, Prince William County police officers were informed a shooting had occurred inside the home to which they were responding, according to a report filed by MPO Renee Carr, public information officer for the police department.

Prince William County Police investigated two cases of shots being fired in the Yorkshire area May 5 & May 6 within 45 minutes of each other. MPO Renee Carr, public information officer, said in police reports that the two incidents were unrelated.

On Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at 7:02PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 7400 block of Carver Rd in Gainesville (20155) to investigate a report of a fight.
CVS Health announced on Wednesday, May 5, that it is now accepting walk-in COVID-19 appointments at CVS Pharmacy locations across the country, including 342 locations in Virginia, with no appointment necessary.
