A public information meeting about the Route 28 Corridor Feasibility Study will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 7, at the Manassas Park Community Center, 99 Adams St. in Manassas Park, and from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 11, at the Centreville Elementary School at 14330 Green Trails Blvd. in Centreville. A short project overview will begin at 7 p.m. at each venue.

Secure-the-building status lifted at Bristow Run ES & Chris Yung ES

UPDATE: Schools have been informed they can come out of secure the building status and release the buses and walkers.

Bristow Run ES precautionary secure-the-building

About 2:30 p.m. this afternoon, Bristow Run Elementary School in Bristow implemented secure-the-building mode due to reported police activity in the area. This action is precautionary and staff and students are safe, according to Irene Cromer, supervisor of community relations for Prince William County Schools.
