PWC Police make arrest in connection with Jan. 9. 2025 shooting.
Social Security announces as a result of Congress’ approval of the fiscal year 2015 budget, the agency will expand its hours nationwide and offices will be open to the public for an additional hour on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, beginning March 16.
At approximately 3:20AM on Thursday, Jan. 22, 2015, an adult male was struck by a train on the 8400 block of Kao Cir just south of Osbourn Park High School in Manassas.
Congressman Rob Wittman (R-VA) who represents part of the Prince William County area will be the guest host tomorrow morning, Friday. Jan. 23, from 6 to 10 a.m., for The John Fredericks Morning Radio Show for the third time.

Virginia Attorney General Mark R. Herring Jan. 22 announced the designation of the nation's first Attorney General's "Animal Law" unit, a small group of current staff attorneys who will spend a portion of their time, as needed, serving as a resource for local law enforcement and state agencies on issues involving animal welfare and animal fighting or abuse.

With passion, poise, and presence, six finalists in the 25th Annual Youth Oratorical Contest wowed the audience of 2,300 in the Hylton Memorial Chapel on MLK Day. Barely had students ended their speeches when the audience rose to give standing ovations, interrupting the speakers numerous times.

US Senator Mark Warner (D-VA) said a lot of questions about the Jan. 12 Metro incident still remain after a Jan. 21 briefing. He said he did not receive answers or assurances he was seeking on several issues.
All Prince William County Public Schools will open two hours late due to ice in certain areas and inclement weather forecast. SACC will open two hours late.
