PWC Police make arrest in connection with Jan. 9. 2025 shooting.
With the number of air travelers growing significantly each year, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) says it is prepared to effectively screen the more than 65.1 million travelers expected to travel over the Spring Break travel season. TSA normally screens nearly 2 million passengers daily. With passenger volumes up more than 7 percent over the same time period in 2015, TSA expects passenger volumes to drastically increase throughout in March as spring breakers take to the skies and throughout the summer.
The Prince William County Police Department is asking for the public’s help in providing information about a sexual assault which was reported to have occurred on Smoketown Rd near the area of Bixby Road and Gideon Drive in the Woodbridge area of Prince William County.
On March 3, detectives from the Homicide Unit announced the arrest of a fourth suspect, identified as Kevin Wilfredo VASQUEZ HENRIQUEZ, involved in the murder of Oscar Rene ANDRADE who was located deceased in a wooded area on Barrett Dr in Manassas on Jan. 13, according to Sgt. Jonathan Perok of the Prince William County Police Department's public information office.

C. D. Hylton High School mathematics teacher Lauren Anne Wilson is the seventh PWCS educator to win the prestigious Milken Educator Award. The national recognition honors her exceptional teaching ability, dedication to her students, and leadership in her school and community. At a schoolwide assembly on March 3 Wilson was surprised when she received the Milken Educator Award and $25,000 from Milken Family Foundation Co-Founder Michael Milken.
This bill changes the current Virginia law, which requires an appraiser to personally inspect a damaged vehicle before creating an estimate, to allow insurance companies to make decisions based on photos.
