VDOT Traffic Alert: Ashton Ave. in Manassas to be closed at night Aug. 15 and Aug. 16

Ashton Avenue between Crestwood Drive and Lomond Drive in Manassas will be closed to through traffic Wednesday night, Aug. 15 and Thursday night, Aug. 16 from 9 p.m. each night until 5 a.m. the following morning. The closing is for Prince William County Service Authority water main work, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

The widow of Ervine Cecil Shortridge, she passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2018, after a brief illness at the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford, Del. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date at the Frankford Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 43 Thatcher Street, Frankford, Del.
