Parts of I-95 in PWC will be closed Sunday thru Thursday nights until Fall

Beginning Sunday night, April 28, weather permitting, a portion of the northbound and southbound I-95 general purpose lanes in Prince William County will have nighttime single- and double-lane closures until late fall.

OmniRide changing some Express commuter bus schedules due to more teleworking

In response to declining ridership while many people telework during the COVID-19 pandemic, OmniRide will make changes to some of its Express commuter bus schedules effective Wednesday, March 25, 2020. Prince William County closes government buildings to the public

Due to evolving concerns related to COVID-19, Prince William County closed all government buildings to the public on Thursday, March 19, 2020, until further notice. However, the courts, clerks and related judicial administration locations and services are open in accordance with instructions from the Virginia Supreme Court.

Local census “events” canceled; residents are asked to complete the form online, by phone or mail

US Census Bureau asks people to complete the 2020 U.S. Census online, by phone, or send it in by mail. Person-to-person contact is not needed to complete the 2020 Census.

PWC offers application drop-off for Development Service agencies

Now that Prince William County government buildings are closed to the public, Development Service agencies have implemented an Application Drop Off location outside the building. The Drop Off is located on the Plaza side of the building.

PWC places restrictions on trash and recycling; Landfill & Balls Ford open

Limit trips to bringing household waste only. Residents are asked to refrain from bringing brush, yard debris, construction debris and bulky items at this time. All commercial loads plus residential larger than 4 x 8 feet must use Landfill. Donation bins are no longer available.
