An expanded selection of brews and barbecue will be available in Old Town Manassas on Saturday, Sept. 28, during the third Brews, Bands and Barbecue Festival.
The Manassas Museum is offering “spirited” events this October--cemetery tours, walking tours and a ghost book talk.
Bridlewaves Swim Team (Bwaves) recently hosted a swim-a-thon that benefitted two non-profit organizations in the community, SERVE and CASA.
Nokesville Business Association is sponsoring a Sept. 21 spaghetti dinner along with an auction and raffle to raise funds for the Nokesville Christmas Parade set for Dec. 14.
The Prince William Community Band Festival, featuring four guest bands from northern Virginia, will be held at the Harris Pavilion in Old Towne Manassas on Sunday Sept. 15. Starting at 1 p.m., the band changes on the hour.

The Manassas Campus of Northern Virginia Community College is inviting community organizations, arts and crafts sellers and food vendors to participate in the inaugural NOVA Community Fall Festival and Car Show in October. Space for community organizations, arts and crafts sellers and food vendors must be reserved by Sept. 11.
“Spirit of Stonewall Jackson High School” band students dressed in their marching attire will be going door to door in the community this Saturday, Sept. 14, asking for donations to help support the band and band activities. Donations are used to purchase music, instruments, uniforms and more.
