IHOPs partner with Leukemia & Lymphoma Society today, March 4, National Pancake Day

As part of the National Pancake Day celebration today, March 4, all participating local IHOPs will give away one free short stack of pancakes with the hopes that patrons will make a donation to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) in lieu of payment.

“World Spay Day” is today, Feb. 25 this year and Prince William County Animal Shelter is participating by offering that any cat or dog adopted today will be spayed or neutered at no charge to the new owner.

Haymarket Quilters to host speakers in March and April

On April 3rd member Stevii Graves, a national quilt show judge and quilt artist, will give a lecture called "The Hex is on You!"

Women Can Fly event at Warrenton Airport to introduce joys of aviation

Women Can Fly, a series of four special Saturday events scheduled in May and June, will introduce aviation to more girls and women in Virginia, according to a news release from the Virginia Department of Aviation. One event, May 10, will be at nearby Warrenton Airport.
