Prince William County reports it remains one of only 38 counties in the nation to carry three AAA bond ratings following a recent review in preparation for the county's $89 million bond sale scheduled for late September through the Virginia Public School Authority (VPSA).

Margaret Mitchell McLeod Price, a teacher at Stonewall Middle School (now Unity Braxton) in Manassas for 26 years until her retirement in 1999, died Jan. 26, 2024. She was an avid traveler and had visited 49 states and numerous foreign countries.
