PWC Police make arrest in connection with Jan. 9. 2025 shooting.

According to PWC police department reports, the investigation revealed that two students made statements of potential violence towards Battlefield High School on Instagram on Oct. 25 and 26. An individual in California saw the posting on social media and reported the threat to the FBI on Nov. 2.

The investigation revealed the suspects rang the doorbell and then began looking in the windows when there was no answer.

A citizen in the area heard the victim yelling for help and walked outside. The suspects saw the citizen and then fled on foot. The victim sustained minor injuries from the incident. A cellphone and keys were taken. A police K-9 searched for the suspects, described as six feet tall males with thin builds, who were not located.

On November 4 at 2:00AM, Prince William County police officers responded to the 1400 block of Bayside Ave in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a stabbing.

Detectives from the Prince William County Police Department's Homicide Unit confirmed the identities of both victims who were killed during the shooting and are actively investigating this incident to determine what led up to the altercation. The investigation continues.
