Man, 32, stabbed on Bayview Ave., Woodbridge on Nov. 4; victim uncooperative, police report

Malicious Wounding – On November 4 at 2:00AM, Prince William County police officers responded to the 1400 block of Bayside Ave in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a stabbing.

The investigation revealed that the victim, a 32-year-old male, was involved in a verbal altercation with several people that escalated.

During the encounter, the victim was stabbed in the upper body. He was transported to an area hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries. No suspect descriptions are available at this time. The victim was uncooperative during the investigation. At this point, this incident does not appear to be random, according to Sgt. Jonathan Perok, police department spokesman. The investigation continues, Perok added.
