PWC Police make arrest in connection with Jan. 9. 2025 shooting.

The state medical examiner has ruled the suspicious death of a 26-year-old man whose body was found on Sunday, Aug. 17, 2014, in the 8900 block of Nicol Lane in the city of Manassas as a homicide

On Sunday, August 17, 2014 at 10:33 a.m., Manassas City Police were called to the scene of a suspicious death in the 8900 block of Nicol Lane.

During the week of Aug. 18-22, road construction work at Manassas National Battlefield Park will occur on North Chinn Road, South Chinn Road, New York Avenue, and the Groveton Confederate Cemetery parking area. The affected roadways and parking areas will be closed to traffic during construction activities.

A representative from Senator Mark Warner’s office will hold remote office hours in Manassas, on Thursday, Aug. 21, to speak with Virginia residents who need assistance with a Federal agency or to pass along a concern to the Senator.
