Prince William County says it wants "to educate, advocate and dispel myths and stigma around mental illness." An awareness event is planned for Sunday, May 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. when residents are invited to take out their running or walking shoes and join in a county-wide Mental Health Walk during Mental Health Awareness Month.

The Prince William County Arts Council invites the community to attend Poetry and Music Out Loud and In The Park: A Black Music Month Celebration on Sunday, June 5 from 3 - 7 PM at the Jean C.
