Passenger identified in this morning’s fatal crash in Gainesville

Investigators from the Prince William County Police Department's Crash Investigation Unit have identified the passenger killed in this morning’s fatal crash in Gainesville as Jose Nelvin ROMERO MALDONADO, 38, of Warrenton. The front seat passenger was identified as a 30-year-old man of Warrenton.

Crossing Guard Appreciation Day Feb. 14 across Virginia

The Board of County Supervisors (BOCS) has designated Wednesday, Feb. 14, as Crossing Guard Appreciation Day in Prince William County. Kate Arnold, student representative to the PWCS School Board, has scheduled town hall meetings to solicit opinions on school matters from students.
