PWC Police make arrest in connection with Jan. 9. 2025 shooting.

On Monday, August 12, 2019, at 6:25pm, an officer of the Manassas City Police Department was on patrol in the 8600 block of Liberia Ave when approached by an adult male victim suffering from multiple suspected gunshot wounds.

The Manasas opffice of the Department of Motor Vehicles will reopen Aug. 19 at Parkridge Center off Rt. 234 near Northern Virginia Community College. This is the shopping center with Kohl's and the movie theaters.

On August 8, 2019, detectives from the Prince William County Police Department's Special Investigations Bureau conducted a Commercial Sex Operation at a Manassas area hotel to combat the illicit demand and solicitation of commercial sex services which police say has a direct connection to human trafficking. Nine persons were arrested and charged with frequeting a bawdy place and soliciting prostitution.

On August 8, detectives with the Property Crimes Unit concluded an investigation into a burglary that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 7700 block of Ashton Ave in Manassas on October 1, 2018.

Homeowners reported to police that they were asleep when they woke to the sound of a crashing noise inside the residence.

On August 2 at 12:00PM, Prince William County police officers responded to investigate an assault that was reported to have occurred at a home in the 3500 block of Forestdale Ave. in Woodbridge (22193) earlier that morning.

On August 8 at 11:05PM, Prince William County police officers responded to the 7- Eleven located at 10420 Portsmouth Rd. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a sexual assault.
