PWC Police make arrest in connection with Jan. 9. 2025 shooting.

Prince William Health District (PWHD) and other vaccine providers across Virginia are now offering third doses of Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccines to those with moderately to severely weakened immune systems (immunocompromised). PWHD's mobile clinic unit will be at the Prince William Fairgrounds Wednesday evening, Aug. 18 (5-8 p.m.) and again during the same hours on Thursday, Aug. 19.

Health workers will be at Prince William Health District's big white Mobile Clinic Unit that will be on-site at the Prince William County Fair this Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 18-19 from 5 to 8 p.m. to give COVID-19 vaccine to fairgoers who walk up with no appointment needed. The MCU will operate weather permitting or until the the vaccine supply runs out. There is no charge for the vaccine.

On August 14 at 5:06PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 18600 block of Amidon Ave. in Triangle (22172) to investigate a robbery.

A Dominion Valley traffic light and the Manassas Costco parking lot were the sites of alleged brandishing of a firearm on Sunday afternoon, Aug. 15. Two people have been arrested.

Detectives with the Prince William County Police Department's Violent Crimes Unit identified the suspects in connection to the home invasion that was reported to have occurred in the Westgate Apartments in the 10100 block of Portsmouth Rd. in Manassas (20109) July 7, according to Master Police Officer Renee Carr, public information officer.

The investigation revealed that the accused was handling a firearm in the home when it discharged and struck the victim, identified as a 15-year-old male juvenile, in the face. Police were immediately contacted.
