Regional council names McDowells as “Foster Parents of the Year” in Prince William County

“All of a sudden, our schedule is controlled by children,” said Carly McDowell, a Department of Defense management program analyst. “Someone’s diapers have to be changed. Someone has to be fed. Between the two of us, we had probably changed 10 diapers. It changed our whole life.” Kristy McDowell, an adjunct professor at Northern Virginia Community College, said the changes were worth it.

he KENA Highlanders of the KENA Shrine will be holding their second annual Feztastic Finds Craft Show & Sale on Saturday, Nov. 4, rom 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the KENA Shrine, 9500 Technology Drive, Manassas. Along with the craft show there will be a static display of one of the KENA 500 cars.
