While continuing the investigation into the robbery that was reported to have occurred at Woodbridge High School at 3001 Old Bridge Rd. in Woodbridge (22192) on June 12, 2023, the School Resource Officer (SRO) identified and obtained petitions for the four juvenile suspects involved and recovered the victim’s jacket.

The Office of the Prince William County Commonwealth's Attorney Amy Ashworth reports that on July 6, 2023, the Honorable Judge James A. Willett of the Prince William County Circuit Court found Gentil Mwenze Banze guilty of DWI-Involuntary Manslaughter in a June 2022 accident that occurred on Old Bridge Road in Lake Ridge following his guilty plea to the charge.

VDOT will be assessing existing traffic, safety and multimodal conditions in the corridor, including driver weaving issues at the Dale Boulevard/I-95 interchange and accommodations for people walking and biking. This is known as a STARS study. Within the study limits, Dale Boulevard averages about 42,000 vehicles a day and Rippon Boulevard averages about 12,000.

The investigation revealed the accused, two victims, and other occupants were inside a home in Dumfries when an argument ensued involving the accused. The parties were separated, and the accused went to upper level of the residence where the two victims were subsequently shot multiple times, both to the upper body.
