PWC fire and rescue units were dispatched to the 8000 blk of Montour Heights Drive (Gainesville) at approximately 6:57 p.m.Aug. 7, for a reported townhome on fire. The occupants had smelled smoke and were searching the home when heavy smoke was discovered in the attic.

On Saturday, August 5, 2023 at 10:24PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 800 block of Fulton Rd in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a stabbing.

On August 2, after Prince William County Police consulted with the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office, the death was ruled to be justified based on the investigation and final autopsy report from the Medical Examiner’s Office. Therefore no charges will be placed or sought.
