On Friday, May 5 at 10 a.m., Prince William County VA Department of Fire and Rescue held its graduation ceremony for Recruit Class 2016-3 at the Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas, according to a news release. Battalion Chief Chris Granger presided over the ceremony.

On the evening of May 4 City of Manassas Fire & Rescue units were called to a two alarm fire in the 9300 block of Nash Drive in the Sumner Lake area of Manassas. Upon arrival, firefighters found the single family home fully engulfed in flames.
