Police arrest suspect in attempted stabbing case on Evansport Place

On April 1, the suspect sought in connection with the attempted malicious wounding that was reported to have occurred in the 12800 block of Evansport Pl. in Woodbridge (22192) earlier that morning, was arrested.

On April 1, the suspect sought in connection to the shooting that was reported to have occurred in the 12800 block of Island House Lp. in Woodbridge (22193) on March 31, was arrested.

Victim avoids stabbing; suspect vanishes

On April 1 at 12:16AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 12800 block of Evansport Pl. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a domestic. The victim, a 23-year-old woman, reported to police that she and a family member, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated.

Flying shoe strikes police officer in chest at Manassas area park

On March 29 at 9:50PM, Prince William County police officers responded to Rosemont Lewis Park located at 11000 Crestwood Dr. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a trespassing complaint. Officers made contact with a group of individuals to advise them to extinguish the bonfire that was lit and leave the park.

Afternoon smoke turns into an armed robbery; masked suspect sought

On March 30 at 2 p.m., Prince William County police officers responded to the Dominion Middle Ridge Apartments located in the 12300 block of Pond Run Dr. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate an initial report of a disorderly. When officers arrived, they located the victim, a 17-year-old male juvenile.

Bishop Burbidge to conduct Holy Week Masses; services to be live-streamed for viewing

Catholics may witnesses Holy Week Masses which will be celebrated by Bishop Michael F. Burbidge at the Cathedral of St. Thomas More in Arlington. These will be available at ArlingtonDiocese.org. The Cathedral will not be open to the public for the celebration of these Masses, in conjunction with efforts being made at all levels to slow the spread of the coronavirus.
