Three transportation projects in eastern Prince William that county officials say will significantly impact mobility are slated to receive a total of $110 million in funding from Northern Virginia Transportation Authority as part of NVTA's 2020-2025 Six Year Program.

What is often completely unpredictable is flash flooding associated with two of the perennial streams that flow through Town, Ballywhack Creek and Boundary Branch. On July 30, 2020, at 10:12 p.m., when officers from the Manassas City Police Department responded to the 8600-block of Bruton Parish Ct to investigate a shooting that had just occurred, two adult men were found, both suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

A homeowner reported to police that sometime between 2:00AM and 4:00AM July 28, a bullet traveled through the outdoor play set and into the home through the kitchen wall before striking a water pipe. A bullet fragment was located in the same kitchen cabinet as the broken pipe.

After investigations Prince William Police report they filed charges in alleged strangulation incidents earlier this week.
