In November 2020, detectives with the Prince William County Police Department 's Special Victims Unit began an investigation into a sexual assault that was reported to have occurred between October 2014 and November 2020 at the Potomac Pediatrics, P.C. located at 2296 Opitz Blvd in the Woodbridge.

A suspect of no fixed address was arrested May 12 and charged with attempted malicious wounding of a LEO, DUI, unreasonable refusal, and cruelty to animals–after his vehicle struck a police cruiser while a police officer was inside the vehicle, according to MPO Renee Carr, public information officer for the Prince William County Police Department.

On May 10 at 9:27AM, investigators with the Prince William County Police Department's Crash Investigation Unit responded to the 8500 block of Smith Ln. in Manassas (20112) to investigate a single vehicle crash. The investigation revealed that a 2020 Cast Loader 28T, lumber Grapple, was being driven up a ramp onto a trailer.
