After much discussion and review, the Stafford County Board of Supervisors has amended its By-laws to provide for a new Board meeting schedule, according to a news release. Now, the Board’s schedule will typically include three meeting days a month with two planned business days on the first (A Day) and third (B Day) Tuesday of each month.

PWC police arrest fifth suspect in July 9 Manassas Mall shooting incident

Malicious Wounding *ADDITIONAL ARREST – On July 15, a fifth suspect, identified as Tayvion Omari THORNTON, who was sought in connection to the shooting that occurred at Manassas Mall located at 8300 Sudley Rd in Manassas (20109) on July 9, was arrested.

PW Police seek public’s help in identifying suspects in Manassas Mall shooting incident July 9

Detectives are actively seeking the identities of the suspects in connection with this incident. Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information to identify the suspects or can otherwise aid in the investigation is asked to contact police at 703-792-6500. The investigation continues.
