Woodbridge residents report hearing gunshots

On March 15 at 12:52PM, officers responded to the 2900 block of Chinkapin Oak Ln. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shots fired call. The investigation revealed that three unknown men were observed walking in a nearby wooded area, when one of them retrieved a firearm and fired a round towards Jed Forest Lane. The suspects then walked away and were last seen on Patrick Henry Drive.

On Sunday, March 14 at 10:35PM, investigators from the Prince William County Police Department's Crash Investigation Unit responded to the area of Catharpin Rd and Sudley Rd in Catharpin (20143) to investigate a crash involving a motorcycle.

The investigation revealed that an occupant of one of the rooms, a 35-year-old male victim, awakened to a disturbance outside another room. When the victim opened his door and looked out, he observed an unknown man near the stairwell and two additional unknown men in front of a different room door.
