April is National Invasive Plant, Pest and Disease Awareness Month and the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (VDACS) is alerting residents about the threats that invasive species pose to the state’s agricultural and natural resources.

Prince William Chamber of Commerce and contracting company Allan Myers announced their joint effort April 14 to contribute $40,000 to two area food banks, ACTS and SERVE, in response to the economic hardships caused by the COVID-19 virus.

On April 2, 2020 officers from the Prince William County Police Department concluded an investigation into an attempted malicious wounding that was reported to have occurred near the 8000 block of Ashland Ave. in Manassas (20109) on March 13.
