Rt. 29 Small Area Plan presentation postponed to Feb. 17, 2021

The Route 29 Small Area Plan, which was scheduled to be presented to the Planning Commission on Dec. 16, 2020, has been postponed to Feb. 17, 2021, according to a news release from the Planning Office. No reason was stated for the postponement.

Prince William County police are currently investigating a shooting involving several officersthat occurred in the 3600 block of Secret Grove Ct in Dumfries (22025) following a call for service that began at approximately 7:14PM on Thursday, Dec. 10.

Manassas Police nab suspect in Dec. 7 bank robbery on same day

On Monday, Dec. 7, 2020, at approximately 8:36 a.m. officers of the Manassas City Police Department responded to the TD Bank located at 8401 Diggs Road near the hospital for a report of an armed robbery. The investigation determined that a male wearing a safety vest approached the teller’s window, displayed a firearm and demanded money, according to the police report.

Suspect arrested in connection with Nov. 29 homicide in Woodbridge

On Wednesday, Dec. 2, detectives with the Prince William County Police Department's Homicide Unit identified a suspect in connection to the shooting of Michael Bright ADOM that was reported to have occurred in the 4000 block of Westwind Dr. in Woodbridge (22193) on Nov. 29.
