OmniRide service changes take effect Monday, Sept. 27

OmniRide’s Fall Service Change will take effect on Monday, Sept. 27, when schedules for Express, Metro Express, and Local routes will change. The Lake Ridge – Mark Center Express route is still suspended. In order to minimize interactions between bus operators and riders and allow customers to board quickly and self-distance more effectively, OmniRide has instituted free fares on Local and Metro Express services.

There’s still time to obtain flood insurance coverage before the end of the season, says the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) that oversees flood protection in Virginia.

Police found two injured teens in the achool parking lot.
