Jonathan Perok, public information supervisor, the investigation revealed that the driver of a 2003 Toyota Camry was attempting to make a left turn on a yellow light from northbound Hoadly Rd onto Galveston Ct when the vehicle crossed paths with a 2005 Subaru Forester that was traveling southbound on Hoadly Rd through the intersection, also with a yellow light.

Maryland National Guard Readiness Center to be named for first woman to lead the MNG

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan announced that the Freedom Readiness Center in Sykesville, MD, will be officially renamed after retired U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Linda L. Grants awarded to protect and restore Virginia’s portion of the Chesapeake Bay watershed

The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF), U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the federal-state Chesapeake Bay Program announced Oct. 12 they've received $2.4 million+ in grants for projects to protect and restore Virginia’s portion of the Chesapeake Bay watershed. The 14 grants announced today will generate $2,115,402 in matching contributions for a total conservation impact of $4.5 million+.
