Free COVID-19 testing at Kilby Elementary Wednesday through Friday. May 20-22

Various free testing sites available to everyone have opened this week in our area. Wednesday (5/20) through Friday (5/22) of this week, one such free sites will be at Kilby Elementary School, which is located at 1800 Horner Road, Woodbridge, VA, 22191. Testing will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. You will be asked if you have symptoms and testing may be limited to those who indicate they do.

Police make arrest in Sudley Rd./Balls Ford Rd. hit and run; one driver and vehicle still sought

On May 18, 2020 investigators with the Prince William County Police Department's Crash Investigation Unit identified and charged the driver of the Nissan Xterra, one of two vehicles involved in the fatal hit & run crash that occurred in the area of Sudley Rd and Balls Ford Rd in Manassas on May 6.

Free COVID-19 testing by VDH in the City of Manassas May 19-22, 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Free COVID-19 testing will be available on Wednesday, May 20, through Friday, May 22, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 9608 Grant Ave. (where the new Public Safety facility will be). This is being offered by the Virginia Department of Health for those with symptoms of the virus.

Free COVID-19 testing for everyone at Hylton Chapel on May 18 & Stonewall High on May 19

Testing for COVID-19 will be available for everyone in the Prince William community for free on Monday, May 18, at the Hylton Memorial Chapel in Woodbridge and on Tuesday, May 19, at Stonewall Jackson High School in Manassas from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Drive-thru and walk-up testing will be offered.

Chief Barry Barnard to retire from PW Police Dept. July 1

Prince William County Police Chief Barry Barnard has announced plans to retire from the Police Department. Chief Barnard was selected as the fourth police chief in 2016 following a nationwide search. Chief Barnard’s last day is scheduled for July 1, 2020.
