On Monday, April 11, 2022 at 12:56PM, investigators from the Prince William County Police Department's Crash Investigation Unit responded to the area of Lee Hwy (US 29) just beyond Pageland Ln in Gainesville (20155) to investigate a single vehicle crash.

Gainesville Supervisor Pete Candland has announced a listening session on Thursday, March 31 at 7 p.m. in the Battlefield High School Auditorium (doors open at 6:30). On Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021 at 5:19PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to The Residences at Somerhill Farms Apartments located in the 7300 block of Yountville Dr. in Gainesville (20155) to investigate a home invasion. MPO Renee Carr, public information officer, said the investigation revealed that four male juveniles entered an apartment and brandished a firearm towards residents.

Moped, a generator, an Outback RV, and two car batteries were reported missing.were reported missing in a burglary in Gainesville Sept. 3.

On Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at 7:02PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 7400 block of Carver Rd in Gainesville (20155) to investigate a report of a fight.
