The Old Centreville Road bridge over Bull Run will reopen to traffic in both directions Saturday morning, Aug. 26, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.
Logmill Road (Route 701) between Route 234 and Shelter Lane (Route 601) will be closed to through traffic, weather permitting, from 7 a.m. Monday, Aug. 28 to 3:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1 for stormwater pipe replacement, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

Betty DeVane Covington and John Harper, both of whom are former Prince William County School Board members, expressed thanks to the hundreds who filled the Covington-Harper Elementary School gymnasium in the Potomac Shores community in Dumfries on Aug. 24. The event marked the school’s official opening and paid tribute to these two legendary public servants.
