PWC Police make arrest in connection with Jan. 9. 2025 shooting.
Del. Marshall reports that his HB 1612, to protect personal privacy in showers, locker rooms, changing areas and bathrooms in our schools and government buildings, was killed on a voice vote Jan. 20 in Subcommittee #4 of the General Laws Committee.
Virginia Nuclear Energy Consortium (VNEC) testified Jan. 19 in support of legislation under consideration in the Virginia House of Delegates that would explicitly allow investor-owned utilities to recover costs associated with relicensing and extending the life of nuclear facilities.

The 100 members of the House introduced over 1,000 bills (I introduced 15), and our 100 Senate colleagues introduced over 700 bills. All are making their way through the committee process and it has shaped up to be a busy session. I’m typically at my desk by 7am and leave Capitol Square after midnight…but it’s fascinating work and a privilege to be your delegate in Richmond!

Agenda for Jan. 24, 2018 Prince William Board of County Supervisors' meeting beginning at 2 p.m. has two times for citizens to speak– one in the afternoon and one in the evening. There is one public hearing at 2 p.m. and three public hearings in the evening session beginning at 7:30 p.m. - two rezonings and consideration of the Strategic Plan for 2017-2020. The meeting will be in the board chambers at 1 County Complex Court, Woodbridge, the main county government building off Prince William Parkway.
