The police report said the driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, lost control of the vehicle which left the roadway in Dale City before entering a ravine which caused the vehicle to roll over.

Delegate Richard Anderson, who represents the 51st District in Prince William County, will sponsor his second Art Day at the Capitol Program on Friday, Feb. 20 from 9:30 to noon in the Fourth Floor West Conference Room at the General Assembly Building.

The Lake Ridge community is home to over 7,000 residents who enjoy playgrounds, tot lots, tennis courts, basketball courts, and swimming pools. Wendy Boone would like to add one more outdoor feature to the community - a bike and skateboard park.

The Prince William County School Board meeting, originally scheduled to be held tonight, Wednesday, February 18, has been cancelled.
"World Spay Day" is Tuesday, Feb. 24 and the Prince William County Animal Shelter is offering that any cat or dog adopted out on that date will be spayed or neutered at no charge to the new owner.
Prince William County Fire and Rescue reported Feb. 18 that on Monday, Feb. 16 at approximately 5:30 p.m. fire and rescue crews were dispatched to a structure fire in a single-family home located in the 6200 block of Occoquan Forest Drive in Manassas.
Manassas residents who would like to have a conversation about a Manassas City matter are invited to "Coffee with Your Councilman" Ian Lovejoy on Saturday, Feb. 28. from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Ground Central Station, 9250 Main Street, in Old Town Manassas.
Lovejoy said it is an opportunity to talk about city government and support a small local business at the same time.

Margaret Mitchell McLeod Price, a teacher at Stonewall Middle School (now Unity Braxton) in Manassas for 26 years until her retirement in 1999, died Jan. 26, 2024. She was an avid traveler and had visited 49 states and numerous foreign countries.
